Application for admission is to be made on the prescribed form. The last date of submission of application forms duly completed in all respects shall be 20 days after the declaration of H.S.C. (std.XII) results. Every application has to be accompanied with the attested Xerox copies of the following,
- Marks Statement of Std.XII or equivalent.
- Transfer certificate.
- Migration Certificate, (if applicable)
- Domicile Certificate
- Caste Certificate/ Caste Validity Certificate.(if applicable)
Admission Process
Admission process will be displayed on college Notice Board. Admission will be made on the basis of merit, Admission is offered, the applicant will have to pay the fees in cash or by D.D. and submit above Original Documents along with two certified copies of each document.
Reservation :- Reservation for Backward Class candidates shall be as per policy of the Govt of Maharashtra.
Reservation Against Various Castes & Categories :- As per the rules and regulations of the University, and according to Govt. norms, the percentage of reservations for the various castes & categories are given as follows:
- Schedule Caste SC 13%
- Schedule Tribe (ST.) 7 %
- Vimukta Jati (V.J.) 3%
- Nomadic Tribes (N 2.5%
- Nomadic Tribes (N.112) 3.5%
- Nomadic Tribes (N.113) 2%
- Other Backward classes (O.B.C.) 19%

Special Incentive Marks Scheme
The Amravati University has passed an Ordinance (No. 1/85) effective from summer 1986, to award Incentive marks to examinee, with the purpose of encouraging them to participate in the extra-curricular activities listed below. The incentive marks will be awarded upto a maximum of 10 marks of the total marks of all papers taken together.
- Blood Donation (each lime) 2 Marks (upto a maximum of 5)
- Games & Sports
(a) Participation in University recognised Inter-collegiate events
(b) Participation in Inter-University events
- N.S.S.
(a) Participation for the entire year
- Cultural Activities
(a) Participation in University - recognized each Inter- college Debate/Elocution/ Drama /
Song / Other competition
(b) Participation in Inter-University cultural events
- Participation in Government
